Certified Lean In Facilitator

Isioma Asiodu-Otughwor Certified Lean In Facilitator

One more tool in the toolbox. Same mission.

It all started with reading Lean In many years ago and deciding to try some of the approaches – We started offering circles to mothers in Lagos, Nigeria in 2016 and expanded to aspiring mothers and new mothers across the world in 2019. – I have always been one to move from complaining to experimenting with solutions in their imperfect state and improving solutions.

In 2023, I got elected to join the advisory board from a competitive pool. Sitting with amazing passionate global leaders (From India, Mexico, Canada, US, Ireland, France, Kuwait etc) on the global advisory board for Leanin network leadership program. This deserves a post of its own.

Beyond circles, Since 2020, I have been using the 50 ways to fight bias scenarios to steer reflective conversations in groups and it is amazing to witness how different people interpret and respond to a specific scenario of bias. Imagine my excitement when Leanin decided to standardise and certify facilitators.
and guess who passed the requirements. Me!!

I am now certified as a facilitator for this impactful program developed to support companies and boards in addressing bias against women (50 ways to fight bias). The experience features scenario-based examples of bias and provides research supported responses to these scenarios.
